A-W-E-S-O-M-E your works is very awesome! cool!!!! very good
try and find a travel baseball program… usually the coaches for travel baseball programs have solid resumes of coaching in college and pro ball. They know what it takes so that's what they teach you. One other thing… if you are a solid fielder and a solid hitter scouts will see that but what they really notice is hustle. If you hustle everywhere you go when you are between those white lines you are going to get noticed.
First of all I find it hard to believe you throw 84. You should be pitching not catching. And if so you should be throwing out more than 45%. Unless all your pitchers delivery times are really slow. or your really wild. But anyway.
Keeping your legs strong is big, especially in late innings were being lazy seems more acceptable, but very costly. Besides that it helps you to be more springy when going to the left or right to block a wild pitch. Being a smart catcher is an attribute not many have, it's easy to sit back an catch a ball, but to know what pitch to throw to what hitter, or what pitch sequences worked against guys in the past is something that gives you the advantage. Just by watching a guy swing at a ball wether fast, curve, or change can better your chances at understanding whta pitches and in what order can get him out. Being on the same page with your pitcher is very key. If you can keep your pitcher calm and confident you'll do ok. It's not easy to teach something like that. Most of the time it's just a natural ability.
balance, balance, balance. if u aren't balanced u can't pitch. it doesn't matter how hard u throw if u aren't balanced. u won't be able to control ur pitches.
p.s. don't be afraid 2 gain wait. i'm not saying let yourself go. just that a lot of pitchers r bigger. and, don't be afraid 2 be a little cocky. when ur on the mound u have 2 think 2 yourself that ur the best player on the field. no one is even close 2 how good u r. so, don't be cocky, be confident.
Play long toss….3 or 4 times a week. Start where you can throw it to your partner on a line….none of that rainbow crap. That really doesn't do anything for you. Move it back gradually….10 feet a week…..and your arm will get a lot stronger.
As for gaining speed, workout. The best way to get speed is to run. Do lots of sprints- since there are 90 feet between bases, do a lot of sprints that are that distance. Also, you need to lift weights. Squats and other leg lifts help with speed. Also, to work on your footspeed you can do dots and speed ladders. Finally, do hurdles. Set hurdles(or boxes, really) on the ground and step over them without moving your foot outside of it. This helps your hip flexion and will improve speed- most top NCAA football programs do this to imrpove their speed.
Fielding wise, just do lots of repetitions. If you are an outfielder, throw the ball up and work on getting your momentum going forward when you catch it. Have a friend, coach, or parent hit fly balls to you. If your an infielder, take a tennis ball and throw it against your garage or the side of your house. Have friend, coach, or parent hit you grounders.
Hope this helps

awesome, keep up the good work!
A lot of your so-called experts are picking Sizemore to have a breakout year, I personally don't think he's any better than at least 20 other players that are ranked under him. People just like to follow the hype when they see momentum building on one guy.
I didn't ever try to succeed at baseball. But, all of this lying and cheating surrounding the use of steroids, has me all pumped and emotional like a steroids abuser.
The American people are being lied to and deceived by these cheaters.I really care when someone deceives and cheats the Americans. It is time for a serious change in Major League Baseball before exposure to steroids abusers lying and cheating damages the values of the fans.
I have found a new purpose in life.
To rattle off one of these facts everytime someone asks me for spare change.
HOLY CRAP! Comparing this to the original picture, they’re identical!
awesome stuff man,….ama practice hard to get to yo level!
I'm a lefty first baseman and usually coaches tend to make a big deal out of lefties. Here are your options: Practice pitching (take lessons, not catch with your dad), OR get really good at 1B and then you will have to work on your hitting.
Set up a net and hit off a tee. I hit off my tee everyday for about 50 swings and I see improvements every few weeks. Your lucky you have a decent arm. If I had a somewhat good arm, I would go all out on pitching. I'm 14 and I throw like 65mph. That's why I'm a first baseman. I got cut in 7th grade and then I spent hours taking ground balls, throwing, and hitting and I made the team in 8th grade and 9th grade.
If you don't want to continue with pitching, and playing first base and hitting are too much, I would suggest to the outfield (less work, but still some work.) Then you would be able to to focus more on hitting. On losing weight, RUN. First off, it will help you lose weight and it is so convenient to have extra speed/stamina when you are running either to first base or to get a fly ball.
If you are going to do weight training, DON"T WORKOUT YOUR BICEPS. I spent my entire winter working out my abs and biceps (Thinking that if I look strong, then I'm probably going to be stronger at baseball) WRONG. My arm got messed up and it barely improve my swing. Baseball players aren't JACKED or RIPPED.
Workout you LEGS (helpful if you continue to pitch or play first base) and your FOREARMS. Forearms help give your swing it's main source of power. You would think biceps but no. Look at A-Rod (bad example) yea he has big biceps (for the ladies) but he forearms are huge also. Also workout your triceps and abs ( to making the motion of pitching easier and running easier.) So here's your list of workout nessecities:
-Running, SPRINTS.
-Tricep workouts.
-Forearm workouts.
-Leg workouts.
You can find specific workouts at http://www.scoobysworkshop.com I know your frustrated, but I had a bad season offensively, and it drove me to working hard so I can bat above 7th next year.
wich program he is for doing this ? beside a tablet ofc
