We would spend many summer evenings together listening to the Yankees play or sometimes, even get to watch them on WPIX the station out of New York, I was raised by my grandparents. i will also never forget the time my grandpa urged me to go to the local mall and bring a baseball someone was going to be there signing autographs.... well that someone turned out to be Mickey Mantle, I still have the baseball to this day. That is a wonderful story… mine would be listening to games on the radio with my grandpa.
