With glasses on you can see the ball coming.
If you are playing sports you should have a pair of safty glasses for that.
If not safety glasses then at least plastic lenses instead of glass.
I wear glasses and I find contacts are too sensitive to dust, and think they are a risk if you get bumped or hit.
There are some very good frames available now for sport use that offer good protection and don't fall off or slide and bounce around on your nose.
