Baseball Betting

Baseball betting is an afterthought to most proletarian sports bettors. The season is about seven months long and the record keeping becomes too overwhelming for the average baseball bettor. To be a constant winner betting baseball, one must keep track of stats for over 150 starting pitchers, 50-75 key relief pitchers, and of course all of the umpires. You must be willing to keep up to date on weather reports, key matchups, and home/away tendencies of all 31 professional baseball teams. Quite frankly for the baseball bettor mlb baseball betting is the most difficult sport to collect a long term profit. On the other hand for the astute bettor, it can be the most profitable game out there.

Whether you are just starting out MLB baseball betting or are a seasoned vet, madduxsports.com has you covered with all the information you need to succeed this year.

Our baseball section here covers such things as odds, ats standings, and the Baseball betting line explained. Most of you understand how the odds work but for those that don’t check out the baseball odds page, which will also give you live odds for today’s games.

Help answer the question about Baseball

Will washing a baseball cap in the dishwasher ruin the cardboard or plastic frame in the hat?
i've never washed a baseball cap before and i want to wash my friends'. i don't want to ruin it because it's not mine. i heard of those hat shaper things you can buy before you put it in the dishwasher, but the shape won't work for his hat because he bends the front part into a curve like a semicircle. would wrapping the curve around a mug work or will the dishwasher ruin the frame no matter what?

I hate to burst everyone's bubble (again) but just because they weren't breaking an MLB rule prior to 2004…… they were still breaking the law. Steroids are illegal w/ out a prescription….. MLB rule or not.

And while gamblers may or may not be trusted…… neither can cheaters. hmmmmmmm

I think Pete Rose should be reinstated

Systems generally don't work. Looking at the right statistics and matchup stats is the best solution. I generally don't recommend looking at stats that are from season's prior to the current. I like the Pirates tonight -1.5 and OVER against the Nationals. The Bucs are swinging HOT bats in the last four games, have their ace on the hill, and are facing one of the worst bullpens in the league. You can check http://dagus-statistics.com for free daily MLB picks and other helpful sports betting tips. Hope this helps!

You don't pick a team so it dosen't matter who wins. You just pick whether the total number of runs scored in the game goes over or under the number. If the total falls exactly on the number of runs scored it is a push and you get your money back. That is why most often you will see totals with fractions of runs.

Moneyline and runline. Moneylines are "straight up" bets. Runlines are -1.5 for favorites (has to win by two or more runs) and +1.5 for 'dogs (can't lose by more than one run).

It's all about managing your bankroll. You can win %99 of your picks and still lose all of your money if you don't manage it properly! Check out http://GamblingReviewsSite.com/freepicks for free daily MLB picks, betting tips, a 'Lock of the Day' message board, and much more. You'll find free matchup stats that are very helpful. Pay attention to the starter's record vs. that team and what they've done over the last 3-5 starts. There is no substitute for patience and research. Don't chase your losses by betting twice as much on the next game, you'll just lose more. Stick with straight wagers and forget about hitting the parlays.
